• Daily prayer and affirmation by text SMS. Actually, I don't have a joke for this one. It's not cheap at roughly 15 cents per message, but if you draw strength and comfort from your faith, then this is as good as any way to use technology to that advantage.
• U.S. can hold citizens as combatants during wartime. That means no access to lawyers. No rights to speak of. And just exactly when will this "war" we're in be finished?
• Teen Cleared in Landmark DVD Case. No jail-time for the writer of DeCSS. It's good to know that you can't be jailed just because the MPAA endorses a shitty encryption algorithm.
